This will be a blog that follows me, a man who is generally viewed as being smart, but has been monolingual to attempt to learn Esperanto.   Yes, I know it might sound silly to learn a Axillary language and not learn Spanish or French, the other two major languages of North America.   This will be self-deprecating as in all seriousness, I really struggle with learning languages.  

Esperanto is supposed to be very easy to learn compared to other languages.  Thus for me to learn this it will be like climbing mount hood, and not Mount Everest.  However I think it very important, as I really think to be Bi-lingual is a important step in being educated and learned, and I am shamefully a American who has coasted and jumped to complex math to avoid learning languages in the past.  So now it is time for me to learn.
